Paolo Silvestrini is a physicist, researcher, and author.

For over forty years, he has conducted research on the foundations of quantum mechanics, making pioneering contributions to the study of macroscopic quantum phenomena that helped pave the way for the Second Quantum Revolution.
He has collaborated with Nobel Prize-winning physicists and is co-author, together with Sir Anthony Leggett (Nobel Prize in Physics 2003) and Berardo Ruggiero, of the book Quantum Computing and Quantum Bits in Mesoscopic Systems.
He was the promoter and chairman of the international MQC2 conferences and is President of the Eudora Association, dedicated to fostering dialogue between quantum physics, the arts, neuroscience, and contemplative practices.

For more than twenty years, alongside his scientific research, he has pursued an intensive path of meditation, inquiry, and dialogue with diverse contemplative traditions.
Inner inquiry represents the existential center of his life, while physics is his language for exploring reality.

From this dual path emerges his work in research and public engagement, dedicated to exploring the resonances between the Second Quantum Revolution and the great traditions of inner inquiry.

He is the author of Synchronic Physics: Non Locality in the Science of the Millennium, as well as the Italian-language books Il Respiro dell’Universo and Homo Quantum.
