Prem Shunyo has been a sannyasin since 1974. For fourteen years she lived and worked closely with Osho as a member of his personal staff, taking care of him on a daily basis. This experience became the foundation of her lifelong path of meditation and awareness.
She recounts those years in her book My Diamond Days with Osho (published in Italian as I miei giorni di luce con Osho by Edizioni Il Cigno), written at Osho’s request and later translated into several languages. The book offers an intimate account of everyday life in the presence of Osho.
For more than fifty years, Prem Shunyo has practiced and taught Osho’s meditation techniques. Throughout her career she has led workshops, professional trainings and meditation retreats across Europe, Asia, Australia and many other countries.
She is the director of the OSHO Institute for Vipassana and Zazen.
During her years at the OSHO International Meditation Resort, she trained as a facilitator of Osho Mystic Rose, Hypnosis for Meditation, and the major meditation techniques developed by Osho.
Music and movement are an essential part of her approach.
Her presence, combined with a simple, grounded, intuitive and person-centred way of guiding, creates an atmosphere of trust in which participants can naturally deepen their experience of silence and meditation.
Veet Marco is a musician and spiritual seeker. He became an Osho disciple in 1979 and has since lived and played music in Osho communities, developing an approach that integrates music, sound and meditation.
Since 1995 he has worked alongside Prem Shunyo, providing live music for workshops, retreats and meditation events throughout the world, including Italy and other European countries, Taiwan, Japan, India and Australia.
He has composed and released numerous pieces of music for meditation, drawing inspiration from ancient practices of the tantric tradition. His compositions accompany meditation processes and are available through the official channels of Prem Shunyo and Veet Marco.
