Sufi is a mystical way; it is the essence in the heart of every religious spirit. It is the ancient wisdom of the heart, the way of love born from that wisdom. It is the rediscovery of our true nature and its realization.
This workshop is a meditative process that uses tools such as rhythm, music, dance, voice, sound, poetry to enter a state of emptiness.
Zikhr (“remembering” – an essential Sufi method) brings us into contact with the different states of our being. Its strength deepens and expands the different qualities of consciousness and leads us to the silent lake of our being. The whirling dance represents and symbolizes the unity of man with the cosmos: a movement in which we dissolve in a world that cannot be understood with the mind but can be felt with the heart.
This meeting is a process in which we “empty” ourselves, in an atmosphere where love flourishes in meditation. We will also explore the beauty of Sufi music and poetry. It will be a deep immersion into our inner world, an exploration of the love and wisdom that we all have in our being, a remembrance of the joyful song and the luminous silence of the universe.
