Honoring Life's End

Using didactic teaching, videos, guided rituals and meditations, sharing, and journaling, we will learn about  how to support loved ones, friends and ourselves at the end of life.

MODULE 2

In the second module we will take a deep dive into exploring all aspects of death, and the dying process. The death of the body is natural and inevitable, and we’ll learn about predictable stages that happen when the physical body dies, and what happens psychologically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually as we approach death.

Grief and loss are important emotions that surface at the end of life, not only for the dying person but also for friends, family, and loved ones.

We will look deeply into five aspects of grief and the whole range of losses that we mourn, not only at death, but throughout our lives.

We will explore ways to support a dying loved one. We’ll learn practices and meditations to bring calm and relaxation to the dying person; listening practices, touch practices, using music, help with legacy projects, supporting personal spiritual practices, and more.

We will speak about Funerals, Home Funerals, Memorials, Life Celebrations
